Hello,

Bill New at the UBC has contacted me about an Encyclopedia of English
Literature in Canada that he is editing. He is looking for someone to
write an article of approximately 2,000 words for the encyclopedia on
"Rhetoric/Oratory in Canada", that covers both French and English
examples. He says he's interested in an article that looks at major
speeches and styles of oratory and perhaps something about current
developments in theory and practice, especially as these bear "upon our
understanding of literature".

Is anyone interested in pursuing this? If so, please contact Bill
directly at "[log in to unmask]". Or, if you have any suggestions
for him of someone who could write this, please let him know.

Thanks,

Philippa
