Hilary, My opinion would be for DBS That's mainly why I haven't had a pallidotomy yet. I'm waiting for the DBS to be approved for other than tremor. I like the idea of it being reversible rather than destroying more cells. Although, most everyone I know who have had a pallidotomy says they would do it again as it helped them so much. Where are you going for it? Is it for tremor? Let us know what you decide. We will be with you 100%! Ruth Clark 67/9
