This may or may not apply to your situation, Ernie, but I have been on requip for about a year and within the past 3 months I have developed precisely the same type of rash that you describe. The difference is that it occurs at my wrist right under the watch face of my wrist watch. I tried switching arms, but wherever the watch was the rash appeared. I changed bands, and coated the underneath part of the watch with clear nail polish. I am using a cortisone cream and talcum powder. This seems to be working for now. There could be no connection to your rash at all. I may have just developed an allergy to nickel, but why? Hello everybody, I have had a few problems over the last few months which have stopped me contributing to the group, although I have tried to keep up with your post as much as possible. The main problem that has kept me quiet is an operation for colon cancer. However, looking on the bright side, they apparently caught it in time to remove a small patch which had the cancer cells in the centre and which had not invaded the surrounding area. So, I am back to normal now (no bag or anything) but am being kept under strict observation. My question is if anyone taking Requip (or Sinemet come to that) has had a skin reaction? Over the last few months, subsequent to starting Requip I have noticed a rash of tiny spots, almost pinpricks, which were, at first, confined to the trunk area. They were only tiny spots and didn't come to a head like normal spots do. At times they would be quite itchy and uncomfortable. Recently they have become a lot worse (more of them and in different places). My doctor is puzzled, and after blood tests confirming liver function as OK has referred me to a skin specialist. I don't get to see the specialist until next Tuesday, so in the meanwhile wondered if anyone has had any skin problems with the Requip, or even Sinemet? Thanks, Ernie.
