Janet, Invacare and Sunrise manufacturing both have what you refer to as a transformer wheelchair. It is called a companion wheelchair priced at about 350-450 US dollars Try your local medical supply/wheelchair dealer and find out if they have information on these two companies. I did a websearch on companion wheelchairs and got several supplier web pages, did not bother to list them here.....as I think the info may be available locally to everyone through medical supply stores.
