Even though I have retired on disability, I still participate with the Choir at the VA Hospital here in Columbia. Each fall, we join the VA National Medical Musical Group in a concert. We have performed in Wahington, DC, New York City, and San Francisco. This year our concert will be in Chicago. Last year when we flew to Washington, DC, I took my wheelchair with me. They did what they called a "gate check." They took me to the gate in my wheelchair, and then met me at the gate with my wheelchair. That worked very well.
