my dad's dentist frecently gave him a prescription for "peridex" to use daily. it's a heavy duty mouthwash that is supposed to stop the build up of plaque. he swishes it around in his mouth for 1 minute and then spits it out. no food or liquids for 1/2 an hour after using. he's just starting using it, so it's too new for any feedback on it. but, thought people might be interested in it. kim
