Nancy, ECT dosages are much lower than when first used decades ago. If you have confidence in the doctor and treatment facility, and if you need and have gotten a second MD's positive consultation, ECT may help. It helped one of my relatives. Good luck. Arlene (57/13) ([log in to unmask])
