Bill, you made me remember my days of working in two car radio places. I was untrained, inexperienced, and should have been a floor sweeper, not a technician. I worked cheap, I showed up every day, and I thought I knew what I was doing. Those were the reasons I got hired. I drilled holes in the wrong places, broke a door off a new Rambler by leaving the car in gear while I worked under the dash. I cut the wrong wires, shorted out batteries, installed the wrong radios, and left out screws, to save time. I bent the dashboards of 200 rental cars to get the radios installed in a hurry. I was not fired, or even talked to, the attitude was that I was doing my best and was untrained, so they were happy with me! That was in the 60's, before downsizing and computerized micro managing! When the customer was king! Ken B
