I have a small collection of books, some of which I use when I have a
new symptom or new medicine (or when I am looking for simpler
explanations for others), most of which I don't use at all. In order of
importance (to me) they are:

Parkinson's Disease: The Complete Guide for Patients Lieberman &
Williams
                                and Caregivers (1993) (very good)
Simon & Schuster
Eat Well, Stay Well with Parkinson's Disease
Kathrynne Holden
        (excellent nutrition
advice) 5 Star Living, Inc.Ft
Collins CO
Parkinson's Disease: Questions & Answers Hauser
& Zesiewicz
       (useful in a theoretic
sense) Merit Publishing
International
Defending Against the Enemy: Coping with PD Eric
Morgan PhD.
--both husband & wife develop PD, creating many QED Press
additional problems. (I found it depressing)
The Case of the Frozen Addicts (1996)--this is a docu- Langston &
Palfreman
drama telling the story of the creation of advanced PD Vintage
Books
through intake of a "designer drug". Much can be
learned about the makeup of the brain.

The best source of information is the monthly publication Parkinson's
Disease Update. It is available through the Medical Publishing Company,
Box 450, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. I don't remember the cost but I
did not find it expensive. It is written in extraordinarily clear
English with all medical terms explained, and yet there is nothing
superficial or condescending about it. There is also an index available
and you can buy back issues.

I hope you find this helpful . I would love to hear which ones I've
missed and that others on the list find useful . So far, for general
"look-it-up" information, I use the Lieberman book almost exclusively.
