I have been on requip for almost a year. I am 52 and have had PD for 2 yrs.
I handled the nausea at the start of each new titration by taking the
increased dosage on Thursday. The nausea would begin to hit by noon Friday.
I teach high school, and so I would be ready for a break by Friday
afternoon. I would stay in bed most of Saturday, my husband would bring me
toast and tea. Then by early Sunday it would be gone and I'd be okay again.
This nausea period only lasted during the titration time. After I got to
the level I am on now, 3 mg. x 3 perday, it ceased to be a problem at all.
It is a good drug and worth trying.
