Wendy, I am Jewish, and have not heard of the concept of Jubilee, not that I am an authority. It sounds like a nice idea, though. I would be wary of people calling in to a "healing" show, as there is no way for the listening audience to know if this is a "shill" calling, to help raise funds. It costs a lot of money to run a TV show, so plenty of donations must be solicited. People need to be convinced that the donations are going to a good cause. I would imagine, that if they said they could cure Parkinson's, if everyone on this list would send a large contribution, very few would donate. BUT, if someone on the list that we all know said they had been CURED!, well, I think we'd all be happy to write a check. PLEASE don't take this as an insult to any religion, or group. I respect everyone's beliefs, and I do believe in miracles, and I believe in God. I am just naturally cynical, and worried when people who might not have money to spare could be taken in by unscrupulous people.
