Hi all: I don't know if this is appropriate but I write sometimes to ease the
stress and this is something I love. I'm sure if it's not to be here I will
be informed.
Take what you like and leave the rest

RED AND YELLOW RAIN

I woke this morning,
to a red and yellow rain.
The trees had decided to discard,
their lovely coats of summer green.

The spring buds, ever so small,
waited for the kiss of a gentle sun.
They were nurtured by the warm rain,
caressed by a loving breeze, they grew.

Under the blaze of a summer sky,
   they spread their living umbrella.
Offered was a cool rest, a shady spot,
for all who cared to stop and rest.

Then the dew became heavy.
One night the fingers of frost came.
Painted was a picture of vibrance,
a brilliant coat of many colors.

I woke this morning,
to a red and yellow rain.
I heard the trees whisper,
of a season of promise to come.

Thank you for taking your time here.
