Jeanette & all: Your comment about salads triggered a response in me. Salads and other green vegetables are often treated with Sulfites (in restaurants and other public eateries like cafeterias). This is a very insidious additive partly because it is so common. My ex-boss had such an allergy and it was a real struggle for her (and us when she got hit unexpectedly).
