This is a copy of a healing story related previously to the Parkinson's
Disease email list. Somehow I missed the original posting. There's been
recent discussion on the PD email list regarding miracles, prayer, the Year
of Jubilee (in Jewish tradition), etc. Ever since I had my idea for the
"Prayer for PD" day, I keep occasionally bringing up the subject of miracle
healings and how I believe it is possible. Even tho' I've been told it's
never happened before, and all of the scientific literature would lead one
to believe they've got a relentlessly progressive, fatal disease, I've
always disagreed with that. Call it stubborn, but I intend to prove
everyone wrong! I don't know whether this story is true or not,altho' I
don't see why not, I intend to see if I can't track it down and verify it.
We need more positive endings to replace all of the negative ones we're
deluged with. I believe that the more numbers of us really believe that a
cure is possible, miracle or not, the sooner and more likely that
possibility will become. I would also personally prefer this route to
surgery, drugs, etc. I'd rather receive my healing without anymore animals
(or people) having to be tested upon.
Creative miracles - now that's the kind of God I believe in!
