Bruce,

I have been keeping up with the list for several weeks now. Your message
asking for help with questions for your new doc prompted me to jump in. I
have an appointment Wednesday with one of the more prominent docs in
Houston. I have seen him once before and he ran tons more tests to rule out
any other possibilities and now he is ready to give me his spin on
medications, etc. My PD was diagnosed 3 years ago at 45. I am taking
Mirapex, Selegiline & Cogentin now. In combination, they are giving me
fairly good relief.

Anyway, what I want to know---what were your questions to the new doc? Our
first visit was off all medication so he could see the base line on the PD.
I was so unnerved by how severe the tremors and rigidity had progressed
since I had begun medication. I wasn't thinking too clearly and barely did
more than answer his questions.

I would appreciate your help in seeming a little more coherent this time.

Rhonda

>Well, I had my appointment last week, with my new MDS neuro at Robert Wood
>Johnson Hospital's Neurology Dept. Thank you Margaret Tuchman! The new
>doctor is terrific, or so he seems. First PD specialist I have had who

he

>next - my choice. He said a lot of PWP do well on Permax after having left
