He hasn't been diagnosed with full blown Parkinson's and never will be until
after an autopsy.
     I don't believe that there is a Doctor out their that diagnoses anyone
with PD, and if there is, they are probably wrong in doing so. A Doctor will
tell a patient that they have: Symptoms of type A typical Parkinson's ( for
example ), and patients do not die from PD, they die from complications due to
symptoms of type A typical Parkinson's ( for example ). My father was
diagnosed with symptoms of type A typical Parkinson's around 1977, and the
Doctors won't know if they were right or not until after he passes away, and
they can perform an autopsy to be certain.
     The best thing you can do, is see Doctors, and get lots of opinions, be
comfortable to the best of your abilities, and hope for the best.
