Janice, forgive me for jumping in here, but something got my attention! You said KAISER does not think you need PT yet, am I correct in assuming that KAISER is an HMO health provider? I am against the idea that someone other than a doctor would be in a position to dictate what kind of medical treatment you or I should have. Since when do clerks or even accountants, or CPA's have the right to practice medicine? HMO's have one goal, which is to make as much money as they can, and if their clients get sicker or die as a result, they really don't care, as you are only a number on a computer screen to them, and can be replaced easily. If HMO's would become "human" to the point of letting people get the best possible treatment, regardless of cost, I might change my attitude towards them. Until then, I will fight the whole concept. I certainly hope you are able to any therapy you feel you need, without a fight. [log in to unmask]
