A week ago we had a two item I..D. which we now discover is suspect
because some people were using age and years since diagnosis, and others
were using age and years since they believe their PD symptoms started.
Currently we are debating a three item ID which some people are already
using, and for which the figures already refer to different things.
Whilst I prefer the 2 figure version, the 3 figure version seems to have
majority support, and will probably be adopted. This being so, I suggest we
do it in such a way as to remove any doubt as to what we are referring, by
replacing "years since" with "age at" and then specifying "onset" and
diagnosis ("dx") in the our signature group.
