I agree with Edie.  You could find  thousands of $100 mm examples of items
in that budget that would make you scratch your head.  This whole thing just
further emphasizes how ridiculous it is for them to not come up with the
funds for us - especially when we all know the true cost is going to be zero
if  the  proposed research is successful.

I don't think we should pick on other people's successes in our fight with
Congress - bound to step on some toes.
