Helen is in Northeast GA - about 1 1/2 hours out of Atlanta - we went to visit our daughter, whose address is Clarksville but they are out in the country about halfway between Clarksville and Helen. Our son-in-law is planning early retirement in a couple of years and they have built log vacation cabins up there. They just sold their home in Marietta and will build a home up there. It sure is gorgeous country - people are nice and friendly. They must raise a million chickens a day in the area. It seems that every few miles we saw a chicken factory.
