Hy Chuck: Dr. Sigmund in Northern VA prescribed Ambien ans Restoril at different times; and Barbara uses them on occasion. She prefers Ambien because it does not linger or have a residual effect after a night sleep, although the night is stll shorter than she needs, i.e. about six hours. But she seems fully rested. Restoril on the other hand may give a longer sleep, but is not as satisfying in that it stays with you longer. Yet, different people react differently to different medication.
