Dear Barbara Mallut: We tried to 'sue' for early Medicare, but t'was too late by the time the attorney got to it. At any rate, we did have an attorney from the Legal Services of Northern Virginia who specialized in Medicare, and we got him after a talk he gave to the Parkinson Support Group here. Perhaps CA has a similar type of consumer ombuds(wo)man to help you. The letter from Mr. Hurt seemed staightforward: you pay the premiums (in arrears) and you get the payments, (maybe?).
