Dear friends, I like to ask you the following. It is maybe a little unexpected and for some of you too difficult to do or to much effort. If so you may forget this E-mail or snail-mail. What is my appeal to you? I ask you to spend only two times in the next two months, to give joy to some-one. It doesn't have to be a stranger, but it has to be somebody who is sad in her/his heart. Show her/him that kindness is so easy to give, because you get so much back. If everyone makes 2 people happy and gives her/him a letter like this, than those two people can make two people happy in the next 2 months. Don't think it is easy! You have to work for it. !! If you have time and the energy please write me how you made somebody happy. You don't have to, but maybe I can forward your letter to people who ask me : "how do I make somebody happy?" I sent this letter to about 2000 people spread over 75 countries. If they all send 2 letters within 2 months then we have this year already 6000 people. In the next 6 months it will grow fast! Up to 62.000 in June 1999. Before the year 2000 has started 510.000 people all over the world will make this a happy world.!!! All the countries, so also all the languages will join. If this letter is not in your native language will you please translate it??!! The year 2000 will be a happy year because we reach an outrageous number of happy people : 35,770,000 !!! And we will continue, because we want all to be happy even if it is just for a few short moments. In 2001 we will have reached almost everyone : 2,352,154,000 !! Do you think that is possible? Yes, you can make two people happy. That is not so very difficult. The next four months will be enough to reach everyone. Give it a try, don't think that it won't work, because it is working, NOW.
