Don I have enjoyed reading your epistles ever since I got on this list -- Couldn't resist your note about Mitzy. I remember when I was 10 or less my favorite uncle had a French bulldog - a small dog but a gorgeous shiny solid black - he had several over the years - always named Mitzy- he lived in Albany NY and had to go to Boston Mass to get a replacement whenever he had to replace one. That was a considerable trip in those days. ( 1920's) Just that name brought back so many memories of those days Thanx a lot.
