I know there was a recent discussion of this, but now that I have a serious cough, the information on this particular question seems not available in my saved posts: Is the nature of the problem which arises when cough syrups are taken by those using eldepryl (MAO inhibitors) a minor problem or a major one? Do the cough syrups reduce the effectiveness of the eldepryl or might they do something a lot more serious--and if so, what? Many thanks, in advance, for your help Nancy Shlaes deGrazia (61/4)
