This is apparently from the NIH's proposed budget, and was formulated
before the passage of the Omnibus Budget Act. Parkinson's research
funding for FY 1999 (estimate) is shown as:
Parkinson's (DIRECT) $45 million
(RELATED) $62 million
It is puzzling that PD is the only disease that is broken down in this
way. No explanation is given.
