List-Bunch.... Sorry for posting this private message to the List.
I've tried emailing directly to Dennis, but the mail daemon (whatsa
mail daemon, anyway?) at Prodigy sent it back to me, claiming there
was no such handle on their service... Barb M.

Hi Dennis...

I guess being born and raised in L.A., and living in the San Fernando
Valley town of Van Nuys would qualify me as a Southern California
resident, wouldn't it? <smile>

My PD-stats: I've had Parkinson's for 23 years, have had a
unilateral pallidotomy <brain surgery> (with outstanding success).
I'm the coordinator of the Tri-Valley Parkinson's Support Group at
Encino Hospital.

If I can be of any help to you and your family in finding the best
movement disorder specialist for your mother, Please feel free to
phone me at (818) 705-3037. Err..... any day after 12 noon, till
'bout 11 p.m. (when my daily PD drugs have had a chance t o kick in)
would be the optimum time to call me.

Depending upon where ya live, I should be able to refer you to
several excellent movement disorder specialists, permitting you to
pick and choose which physician would be best for your mom.
