Thank you again for all of your responses for Movement Disorder
Specialists in Southern California. We are narrowing down the list
and will be contacting a few in Orange County.

I have another question for the group.

Who is involved with a support group? Is it helpful? I would like
my parents to join one, but sense that there will be resistence to it.
The are somewhat private people and dad (the primary caregiver) is
afraid of saying anything to offend or upset my mother (the PWP).
She (79/1) is somewhat in denial. saying she is doing fine...but
she's not. Dad (CG79) is very frustrated at his inability to help
her more and privately cries as he watches the love of his life
deteriorating! Would it be better to get dad into a caregiver
support group or get them both into a Parkinson's Support Group?
What do you think? I fear an uphill battle!

Thanks, Dennis ([log in to unmask])
