Janice, I don't know if my daughters horses act as if they are tingling, will ask her. When I had my acupuncture, they also used a little electrical stimulation, which I controlled. I quit smoking after years of trying and every time I wanted to smoke again I went back (about once a month) . It did tingle, but I thought it was better than smoking. I am not at all sure why the needle was in my ear, but it was. Maybe I quit smoking because I didn't want to be electrocuted!!! A friend and her daughters had the same result. For the muscle spasm the results were the same. (lumbar region) It does not come back often any more and I can stop it with exercises now. Very careful exercises. but you say it does help your mothers MS, that is not bad. Thanks, Nita
