Dear Susan,

I can only imagine how concerned you must feel both for your mother and
yourself. Now the stress and the weather have given you a cold to boot! I
only have taken a quick look at your web site and the account of your long
battle with Kugdberg Welander, the rare disease that has you in a wheel chair.
Your spunk and determination in being a caregiver to your mom and to get to
the bottom of her sudden decline which has put her in the hospital is
impressive.

Susan, I too think your mom needs a Movement Disorder Specialist, if at all
possible, to take charge of your mom's PD meds Are you presently located in
Canada? Please tell us where you are located. Members of this list can
provide you with names/nearest location of neurologists whose specialty is
PD and other Movement Disorders.

What support system--friends/relatives-- are nearby to help you and your mom?
It sounds like you need someone right now to take some of the load off of you
in troubleshooting this sudden change in your mom's health.

Please respond to the list, Susan . If we can help, we will certainly try.

Thinking of you in KS,

Barbara Blake-Krebs 58/1984
