Hi Folks'
There other day Barb brought up the little childrens song about "The
little Engine that could". That reminded me of a railroad song that I
had heard, and so I started serching the www and found the lyrics to it.
I think it is a very good inspriational little ditty. See what you all
(ya'll) think.

LIFE'S RAILWAY TO HEAVEN

=A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0 Charlie D.
Tilman, 1918
1. Life is like a mountain railroad,
=A0 With an engineer that's brave;
=A0 We must make the run successful,
=A0 From the cradle to the grave;
=A0=A0=A0=A0 Watch the curves, the hills, the tunnels; =A0 Never falter,
never quail;
=A0=A0=A0 =A0 Keep your hand upon the throttle, And your eye upon the
rail.
 Chorus:
=A0=A0=A0=A0 Blessed Savior, Thou wilt guide us,
=A0 Til we reached that blissful shore;
=A0 Where the angels wait to join us
=A0 In thy praise for evermore.

2. You will roll up grades of trial;
=A0 You will cross the bridge of strife;
=A0 See that Christ is your conductor;
=A0 On this light'ning train of life;
=A0 Always mindful of obstruction,
=A0 Do your duty, never fail;
=A0=A0=A0=A0 Keep your hand upon the throttle, and your eye upon the
rail.

3. You will often find obstruction;
=A0 Look for storms of wind and rain;
=A0 On a hill, or curve, or trestle.
=A0 They will almost ditch your train;
=A0 Put your trust alone in Jesus;
=A0 Never falter, never fail;
=A0=A0=A0=A0 Keep your hand upon the throttle, and your eye upon the
rail.

4. As you roll across the trestle,
=A0 Spanning Jordon's swelling tide.
=A0 You behold the Union depot
=A0 Into which your train will guide.
=A0 There you'll meet the Superintendent,
=A0 God the father, God the son
=A0 With the hearty, joyous plaudit,
=A0 "Weary pilgrim, welcome Home!"
