Dear Susan,
There are many possible reasons for leg cramps; one possible cause in
older adults is a change in eating patterns such that the person ingests
too little calcium, magnesium, and/or potassium. I would speak with her
physician, who can best advise whether this might be the case, and if
so, can refer her to a registered dietitian. An RD can help her plan a
regime that will work with her Parkinson's disease.

My very best regards,
Kathrynne
