Just received a phone call from Barb Mallut, who is experiencing
communications problems with her ISP, which should remain nameless.  In the
past she has had extended spells of not being able to receive mail.  This
time she can't send it - and what can be more frustrating than to compose a
message and find it back in your own mailbox with a rejection message ten
minutes later?

Barb notes that one of the messages concerned a good ferry for Gina in
Ohio.  You'd think there would be one across Lake Erie from Cleveland to
Port Stanley,  Ontario - but my map doesn't show it.  Barb says that there
are a bunch of other messages also lined up - but having paid for fifteen
minutes of sitting on hold, long distance, not an 800 number yesterday, and
getting no results, she's a bit reticent to try it again today.

So to those of you awaiting a reply from Barb, either on the list or
private, patience.  She'll get through eventually.
