Ivan, I would never think something like that could happen in the USA, but I know you are not one to joke about a serious situation. I wish you success in finding a house-mate and or a caregiver. If prayers help, you can count on mine. Could you transfer the ownership of the house to a relative? Can you rent out part of the house to a border who would not be a caregiver?
