Ensure also comes in a pudding. I did rapidly lose wt. in the hospital (food was OK. I was not) I found that the pudding was easier. Not really good, but easier. Also some of the liquid diet preparations have a great deal of nutrients in them. Read the labels carefully. When my mother was ill, I found several which were acceptable and cheaper that Ensure.
