Yes, Janet, I learned that there is a way to get more meds if needed. It is called a TAR. This has to do with special requests from the Dr. to Medi-cal/Medicaid to give a person the meds. TARs do not count in the 6/month rule. My Requip is already on a TAR because it is new and therefore not on the regular list of meds allowed. My neuro and pharmacy had to work for over a week to get it allowed for me and each time that we increase the dose, yep, you got it, a new TAR must be applied for. what a life.
