Jane, et al..... For what it's worth: The urologist I saw told me to cut back on the 7-8 glasses of water I usually drank each day, as opposed to your dad's neuro's advice to him. The urologist said to drink about 4 or 5 glasses of water daily, and NONE after 6 or 7 in the evening, 'cause a long-time Parkie's bladder is just like that of a new baby - little or no control. The full 8 glasses of water we're generally advised to take each day directly counter acts the attempt to get the condition under control. Once control is achieved, THEN we can return to drinking a larger volume of water each day.
