Friends, I have just spoken to Ivan. He is doing much better - because he has had company and care and consideration from caregivers for a night and a day now. But at 5.30 the present cg goes home, and Ivan is alone once more through the night. If anyone is going to be anywhere near Portland, Maine, go and visit Ivan. He loves having visitors and it is a beautiful part of the world. And if somebody wants a quiet break from the cares and woes of a bustling metropolis - or wants to write the great American Novel, or needs peace and quiet and seclusion - maybe to write a thesis...Ivan has a beautiful home he can offer to share in return for being taken care of - for the right person.
