Hello everyone, and thank you Patricia Roberts and Camilla Flintermann for introducing me to this internet list. I am a Registered Pharmacist in Columbus, Ohio, and I am employed as a Pharmacy Service Specialist for Athena RX Home Pharmacy. Athena has created an innovative program across the United States called Partnership for Care. "Partnership for Care was developed to help address the need for patient education in the field of neurology and is designed to apply professional knowledge of pharmacists to the management of drug therapies for people living with neurological conditions." There are currently 6 Pharmacy Service Specialists across the Unitied States serving the neurological community with current, objective, and balanced information to facilitate the optimal use of drug therapy. As Partnership for Care pharmacy professionals, we strive to positively impact the management of disease and enhance quality fo life through education and empowerment. We will serve the Parkinson community as a valuable resource by building relationships based on mutual trust and respect. As a pharmacist, I look forward to any questions any member of the list may have. I will use this site as a resource and I will share what I learn with others that I may come in contact with.
