Guidelines for the management of Parkinson's disease. Parkinson's disease is a chronic and disabling illness and there is currently wide variation in its management. This article presents the first UK-specific guidelines for the management of Parkinson's disease and it contains a treatment decision tree to aid the physician in deciding when and how to treat patients. We hope this document will prove useful to all those involved in the planning and delivery of care to patients with Parkinson's disease.
