Well, Janet, you are wrong. The fact that you had to go digging and the fact that I mentioned local sources should have been a clue. Now if you think I could watch three of my family die of Parkinsons, spend the last 20 years facing death, (I've been told by Doctors on more than five occassions I had less than four years to live), begin to come down with shakes (this is very scary & disconcerting)and still be motivated by profit, I would say you are suggesting I'm much worse than a Snake Oil salesman. You may also consider that "two personal observations" is so unlikely to end up amounting to anything, that you are over-reacting to what I've said. I do understand your concern, but a _good_ "Snake Oil Salesman" would develop a "special blend" only available through them, and probably have a long list of ancient reinforcement or twisted logic and statistics to reinforce their claim (e.g. workers in Sandalwood Factories in India have never reported a case of Parkinsons [i just made that up]) I'm not at all convinced that sandalwood will have any benefit for Parkinson's sufferers, but I am very aware of my own experiences. I have no doubt that sandalwood did stop my shakes. If it does turn out that there is something to it then it should (and I'm sure will) become the subject of professional medical research and development, and I would have nothing to do with that, nor would their be a potential for me profitting. Drug companies would isolate the essential properties and produce products--not me! But I think we are geting way ahead of ourselves. You may want to note that the greatest breakthrough in medical history came from doctors recreational use of anesthetics, and not be so closed minded and suspicious.
