Well, I DO appreciate the protection. there are plenty of rats out there
ready to separate us fools from our millions.. Heck, last summer i was all
alone here for three weeks while my wife went to Guatemala & I let some
plumber charge me $850 to replace an 80 gal. HW heater. You just get so
tired. We need the help, Wendy - some of us do. We are a vulnerable lot.
I don't believe janet has ever misidentified one of these characters, but if
she ever does so what. It's not the Death Penalty we're dealing with here.
Besides, this List is not a democracy - we don't often get the chance to
vote on this kind of thing - and I thought huckstering was not allowed. I
recall some time ago I tried to solicit $ from the List for one of us who
wanted to go to a DC Udall meeting & I got major complaints (& exactly 3
donations)
A Master Rambler bids you - Good Night.
( I can't believe I just admittted to the whole world what i paid for that
HW heater...)
