Try other doctors. I can understand an "ugly specimen" but not the cursing, rarely happens , very rarely. Where I have worked (a lot of Places, because I have been around a long time) drug addicts were not cursed to or about, just treated. The only time it was mentioned was to tract the history of the disease and that is all. I still say that if you have hepatitis C there is treatment available, I believe it was Will Johnston who mentioned it. Interferon has been used for several years, but like many medications which work they have to have approved studies , even though they are used before that. Just see what you have and get treatment. We worried about bleeding from liver biopsies and that was it. (it is enough). So see someone. good luck , Nita
