Dear Kathrynne: I have listings of the Parkinson support groups in south Florida. I have attended all the local groups in the past and I am POSITIVE that you would be welcomed with open arms at any of the meetings. From Pompano, there is easy access to Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami, so there are a fair number of groups. Dear Listmembers, Much to my dismay, my husband has been transferred to Florida recently (this is the third transfer in five years, and we've given up trying to settle anywhere!). We will not be moving there, but he will have an apartment in Pompano Beach, and I will be spending some time there in the coming months. If there are any PD support groups in the Pompano Bch area, I'd like to come to meetings, if someone would notify me what day they take place. I look forward to hearing from you.
