Verapamil was found to be a cause of parkinsonism by Spanish medical
practitioners. Verapamil (Calan, Isoptin, Verelan) is a calcium channel
blocker. As such, it is prescribed to treat angina, coronary artery
disease, and hypertension.

hi again mary

in my previous post, i forgot to mention verapamil
you said that you take:

>>...80mg reg. Verapamil 3 times per day for migraine...

in some preliminary digging on the wwweb
i found verapamil on a list of meds
which are contra-indicated
for parkies
[i think the list from australia]

have you checked this out with your doctor and/or pharmacist?
can anyone else comment on this?
