John, I was born in 43, and I think the Hut Sut song was popular before that. I think Mel Torme was at least one singer who performed it. As I told Bob, I need to listen to my records more! I think it is a love song and some of the works are names of places. I will see if I can dig it up. With the new swing dancing craze, who knows, it could become popular again! Ken B
