Well said! It is my sincere wish that all on the list abide by the suggestion. We should never try to "recruit" list membership in the first place regardless of whether the PWP is a celeb or just another poor working stiff. In fact, some of the best contributions to the crusade have come from the ordinary folks who joined the list on their own. Guys and gals, why not let our list owner be the first to make contact and then get back to us on it. We can then discuss an appropriate and proper course of list action(s). > ---------- > From: Barb_MSN[SMTP:[log in to unmask]] > Sent: Wednesday, November 25, 1998 3:45 AM > To: Multiple recipients of list PARKINSN > Subject: Re: People magazine > > Joan, and All.... > > It's my feeling that when a celebrity comes forth claiming to have > been diagnosed with Parkinson's, that it would be better if that > individual was NOT immediately showered with "Welcome to the Club" > emails/messages from well-intentioned List members and other Parkies. > > Who knows how long it's been since they were diagnosed?
