The Don Cossacks sang in Russian - folk songs and religious songs and church music - all Russian Orthodox. I heard them in 3 or more concerts and don't remember anything but Russian. There is a group calling themselves the Don Cossacks I saw in Tucson a few years ago but they were more an entertainment group than the older group - the older group were strictly singers fantastic basses and terrific tenors Bob
