Glad they help you laugh, Gerry. It really is good for us to lighten up and
laugh a lot, huh? I got in on an especially interesting program just the
other night about a clinic that is doing extensive research into the medical
value of laughter. It showed several men sitting in a room watching old
reruns of Galliger. Each was hooked up to machines testing their vital
statistics. There was also a tech taking blood from each one. They were
laughing like crazy and the tests were sending back many positive results.
One comment went something like "a good belly laugh was as good as
aerobics". (That perked me right up, aerobics, yuk!) :)
The clinic has also developed a test to ascertain just what kind of humor
makes each individual laugh the most and then they write them a
"prescription" naming books, videos, etc. that will be sure and make them
LOL. Neat, huh?
Sharon
P.S. To answer your question: I get most of my jokes from cyberspace AND
my brother (of course, most of his I can only send to certain ones of you
that I have learned have the same wild sense of humor I have and won't be
offended.) :)
