And the clinic offers deep brain stimulation, recently approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, to treat Parkinsonian tremor and essential or familiar tremor. Other procedures offered bv the clinic are thalamotomy to treat tremor due to multiple sclerosis, trauma or stroke and rhizotomy to treat torticollis.
